Togenkyo, fairyland / utopia

Matsuno-town has been known the XXarea of peach. 桃源郷 [to-gen-kyo] means the fairyland/utopia in east asia and peach blossom is an essential component for the fairyland people imaged it. 　Matsuno is really beautiful spot filled with full bloomed peach blossoms in this season.

On the 1st Sunday of April, over 2,500 runners rally in Matsuno-town and they enjoy the to-gen-kyo marathon through flowery courses.
